Unichem Laboratories reported standalone total income of Rs 2,201.85 crore for FY26, up 4.3% from Rs 2,110.97 crore in FY25. Net profit after tax improved to Rs 57.80 crore from Rs 46.70 crore, with EPS rising to Rs 35.91 from Rs 19.53. On a consolidated basis, excluding former subsidiary Ipca Laboratories (ceased to be subsidiary from April 30, 2025), total income was Rs 1,412.29 crore versus Rs 1,735.70 crore in the prior year. The company also disclosed full settlement of a European Commission fine of Euro 19.55 million imposed on Unichem and subsidiary Niche Genetics, which was paid on October 28, 2025 after adjusting Euro 2.79 million already paid in installments.
Standalone performance shows improved profitability year-on-year, but consolidated revenues declined due to the loss of Ipca Laboratories as a subsidiary. The EU fine settlement removes a regulatory uncertainty for shareholders.
