Unimech Aerospace reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹6,298.85 lakhs for Q1 FY26 (June 30, 2025), up about 6% from ₹5,920.53 lakhs in Q1 FY25, helped by a sharp rise in other income to ₹1,143.81 lakhs. However, profit after tax dipped to ₹1,912.43 lakhs from ₹2,062.97 lakhs YoY, with EPS falling to ₹3.76 from ₹4.69, as depreciation costs more than tripled. Sequentially, both revenue and profit declined versus Q4 FY25 (₹6,837.17 lakhs revenue, ₹2,920.20 lakhs PAT). On a standalone basis, revenue dropped to ₹1,170.55 lakhs but PAT jumped to ₹886.20 lakhs, driven largely by other income. The company has utilised ₹11,293 lakhs of its ₹23,091 lakh IPO net proceeds so far, with over half the deployment still pending.
Mixed quarter — topline growth is healthy but rising depreciation and weaker sequential performance may pressure near-term margins and sentiment. The quick back-to-back exits in the Company Secretary role (March 2025 and July 2025) are a minor governance watchpoint, though a permanent replacement is now in place. The fresh CS appointment and a reputed internal auditor (RSM India) bring some stability.
