Uniphos Enterprises submitted its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Revenue from operations rose sharply to Rs. 585.80 lakh from Rs. 302.57 lakh in the same quarter last year. However, the company reported a wider net loss of Rs. 73.61 lakh versus Rs. 14.72 lakh in Q1 FY25, as expenses grew faster than revenue. Other comprehensive income fell to Rs. 7,891 lakh from Rs. 40,161 lakh, mainly reflecting lower fair-value gains on the company's investment portfolio, leading to total comprehensive income of Rs. 7,817.56 lakh versus Rs. 40,145.83 lakh YoY. Loss per share stood at Rs. 0.11 vs Rs. 0.02. Separately, the board appointed M/s. Shah AP & Associates as internal auditors for FY 2025-26 from Q2 onwards. The Board had earlier recommended a much smaller dividend of Rs. 0.50 per share (25%) for FY25, down from Rs. 5.70 (285%) in the previous year.
Operational losses have widened, but the company's value remains driven by its investment portfolio, which still delivered sizeable comprehensive income. The sharp drop in dividend payout may be a negative for income-focused shareholders, while the change in internal auditors is a routine governance update with no immediate material effect on the stock.
