United Spirits reported strong FY25 results with standalone net sales value (NSV) of INR 11,573 Cr, up 8.2% year-on-year, driven by 9.9% growth in the higher-margin Prestige & Above (P&A) segment which now accounts for 88.5% of underlying sales. Q4FY25 was even stronger with standalone underlying NSV rising 11.9% to INR 2,983 Cr and P&A growing 13.2%. Standalone EBITDA jumped 39.5% in Q4 to INR 505 Cr with margins expanding 358 basis points to 17.1%, while FY25 EBITDA grew 20.5% to INR 2,058 Cr at a 17.8% margin. Profit after tax for FY25 rose 18.8% to INR 1,558 Cr with EPS of INR 21.4 versus INR 18.0 last year. The Board has recommended a final dividend of INR 8.0 per share subject to shareholder approval. A one-time exceptional charge of INR 65 Cr related to a multi-year supply agility programme was taken during the year.
The results are positive for shareholders — strong double-digit EBITDA growth, significant margin expansion, healthy dividend, and resilient P&A performance suggest the stock may react favorably. The Popular segment's near-flat growth and the exceptional charge are minor concerns but are overshadowed by overall operational strength.
