Universal Starch Chem Allied Ltd submitted newspaper clippings of its Q2 and H1 FY26 standalone unaudited results (ended 30.09.2025) to BSE, as required under SEBI LODR Regulation 47. Total operating income for Q2 FY26 stood at Rs. 9,765.07 lakhs, up from Rs. 9,132.00 lakhs in Q2 FY25. The company swung back to a net profit of Rs. 76.46 lakhs in Q2 FY26, compared with a loss of Rs. 821.78 lakhs in the same quarter last year. For H1 FY26, revenue was Rs. 21,927.41 lakhs (vs Rs. 22,493.09 lakhs in H1 FY25), with a reduced net loss of Rs. 174.15 lakhs versus Rs. 675.33 lakhs in H1 FY25. EPS for Q2 FY26 improved to Rs. 1.82 from a negative Rs. 19.57 in Q2 FY25. Results were approved by the Board on 10 November 2025.
A clear quarter-on-quarter turnaround in profitability versus the year-ago period and a sharp narrowing of half-yearly losses signal operational improvement. However, H1 FY26 remains in the red, so the full-year recovery picture is still uncertain for shareholders.
