UNO Minda reported audited standalone FY2026 results with revenue from operations of Rs. 14,699.65 crores, up 18% from Rs. 12,455.66 crores in FY2025. Net profit after tax grew 22% to Rs. 971.69 crores from Rs. 796.26 crores, with EBITDA margin expanding to 12.85% from 11.85% and net profit margin improving to 6.61% from 6.39%. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1.75 per share (87.5%), bringing total dividend for FY2026 to Rs. 2.65 per share (132.5%). All three auditors were reappointed: S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP as statutory auditors for a second 5-year term, Protiviti India as internal auditor, and Jitender Navneet & Co. as cost auditor. The Board also sought shareholder approval to raise up to Rs. 2,500 crores via securities, approved further investment of Rs. 20 crores in wholly-owned EV subsidiary UMEVS, and cleared a Rs. 550 crore 4W-EV Powertrain project through subsidiary UMAIPL with an additional Rs. 310 crore equity investment. The auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Strong operational performance with 22% PAT growth and margin expansion signals solid execution. The Rs. 2,500 crore fund-raising authorization and Rs. 550 crore EV project approval indicate significant future capital deployment in EV powertrain, which could support long-term growth but may dilute earnings if funded via equity. The clean audit opinion reinforces financial reporting reliability.
