UNO Minda reported strong Q1 FY26 results with standalone revenue rising about 20% year-on-year to Rs 3,390.53 crore and net profit nearly doubling to Rs 273.86 crore (EPS Rs 4.77 vs Rs 2.44). Consolidated revenue grew to Rs 4,489.09 crore with net profit of Rs 309.03 crore (EPS Rs 5.06). The board appointed Mr. Randhir Singh Kalsi as a new Non-Executive Independent Director for two years from August 11, 2025, and recommended re-appointment of Mrs. Rashmi Hemant Urdhwareshe for a second three-year term starting January 25, 2026. It also allotted 2,81,974 equity shares to shareholders of three merged Kosei Minda entities under the NCLT-approved amalgamation, approved up to Euro 5 million additional investment into Spanish subsidiary Clarton Horn, and gave in-principle approval to acquire partner Buehler Motor's stake in their JV.
Sharp profit growth on the back of higher revenue and dividend income (Rs 48.54 crore) is positive for shareholders; the share allotment under the Kosei Minda merger causes a small dilution, while the new independent director and further European investment reinforce governance and overseas expansion.
