UR Sugar Industries Limited held its 15th Annual General Meeting on September 29, 2025, at its registered office in Belgaum, Karnataka, from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Out of 5.25 crore total shares, about 1.87 crore votes (35.56%) were polled, and all four resolutions were passed with the required majority. The resolutions covered adoption of FY25 audited financial statements, re-appointment of Mr. Nikhil Umesh Katti as Director (retiring by rotation), appointment of Secretarial Auditor for 5 years (FY26–FY30), and re-appointment of Mr. Lava Ramesh Katti as Managing Director. Each resolution received roughly 80% votes in favour and 20% against, with the promoter group (holding 1.4 crore shares) voting entirely in favour. Public shareholder participation was low — only 12.12% of public-held shares were voted, and the majority of those public votes were against the resolutions.
