Urban Company delivered its highest consolidated NTV growth in 15 quarters at 42% YoY to ₹1,148 crores in Q4 FY26. The core India Consumer Services business (ex-InstaHelp) grew 26% with adjusted EBITDA margin expanding to 3.3% from 1.6% a year ago, reaching 4.1% for the full year. International business (UAE + Singapore) grew 84% and turned adjusted EBITDA positive at ₹6 Cr for FY26. InstaHelp, the new on-demand home services business, delivered 2.7 million orders with ₹40 crores NTV but posted ₹119 crore adjusted EBITDA loss due to market-building investments. The company maintained its guidance of consolidated adjusted EBITDA breakeven by Q3 FY28 and ₹1,000 crores by FY31, backed by ₹2,021 crores cash. Management highlighted the 'faster, cheaper, better' flywheel driving supply densification as the key growth driver.
Strong execution with margin expansion in core business gives management confidence to fund InstaHelp losses while maintaining balance sheet strength. The clear path to profitability in core and international businesses, combined with disciplined InstaHelp investment, is positive for long-term shareholder value.
