Ushakiran Finance Ltd has disclosed that Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation Limited (APIDC) has transferred its entire shareholding of 1,92,900 equity shares (7.58% of paid-up capital) to Telangana State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (TSIDC). The transfer was completed on 18 November 2025 via Demat as part of the bifurcation of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh into Telangana and residual Andhra Pradesh under the AP State Reorganisation Act, 2014. An expert committee appointed by the government had recommended reallocation of APIDC's equity in the company to TSIDC. The company has clarified this is a government-directed reallocation between two state undertakings with no commercial transaction or change in management control. The RTA (Venture Capital and Corporate Investments) is yet to receive formal intimation of the transfer.
This is a routine administrative reshuffle of equity between two state government entities triggered by state bifurcation, not a market-driven transaction. Shareholders should see no change in ownership quality or control — both APIDC and TSIDC are government bodies. Neutral impact expected on the stock price.
