UTI AMC has submitted to the exchanges a copy of its newspaper advertisement (published in Maharashtra Times on May 1, 2025) containing the audited financial results for Q4 FY25 and the full year ended March 31, 2025. On a consolidated basis, full-year FY25 net profit after tax fell to Rs. 731.49 crore from Rs. 765.68 crore in FY24, a decline of about 4.5%, even as total income rose to Rs. 1,851.09 crore from Rs. 1,736.96 crore. The Q4 FY25 consolidated picture was weaker, with net profit after tax dropping sharply to Rs. 87.46 crore versus Rs. 162.76 crore in Q4 FY24, a fall of nearly 46%. On a standalone basis, FY25 net profit after tax improved to Rs. 653.52 crore from Rs. 600.52 crore, though Q4 standalone PAT also dipped to Rs. 124.02 crore from Rs. 151.32 crore. The full format results and auditor's report are available on the UTI MF website.
The steep drop in Q4 consolidated profit is likely to be a negative near-term trigger for the stock, even as full-year standalone earnings show modest growth. Investors should watch for management commentary on the reasons behind the weak Q4 consolidated numbers before drawing longer-term conclusions.
