UTI AMC reported Q1 FY2025-26 results via investor presentation. Total group AUM rose 13.28% YoY to ₹21.93 lakh crore, with UTI MF QAAUM growing 16.15% YoY to ₹3.61 lakh crore. Market share in total MF QAAUM held steady at 5%, while NPS AUM share reached 24.67%. Standalone PAT grew 16% YoY to ₹216 crore with margins expanding to 49% from 48%, and core PAT rose 19% YoY to ₹118 crore. Consolidated PAT fell 7% YoY to ₹237 crore due to a ₹39 crore forex loss at UTI International (USD weakening vs SGD and GBP); excluding this, consolidated PAT would have grown 8.6% YoY to ₹276 crore. SIP AUM grew 16.9% YoY to ₹42,196 crore with monthly SIP inflows at ₹6,101 crore. Digital purchase transactions rose nearly 30% YoY to 49.14 lakh, and equity-oriented QAAUM mix stood at 69:31 versus industry average of 60:40.
Strong AUM growth, healthy SIP momentum, and digital traction are positives for long-term fee income. However, consolidated PAT was dented by currency devaluation at the international subsidiary, which may draw investor attention. Standalone performance remains robust with margin expansion and consistent profit growth.
