UVS Hospitality and Services Ltd has allotted 7,50,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each at an issue price of Rs. 17/- (including Rs. 7/- premium), following the conversion of an equal number of warrants issued earlier on a preferential basis. The company received the balance 75% amount of Rs. 12.75 per warrant, totalling Rs. 95,62,500, from three allottees — Deepak Kharwad, Anju Shah, and Sushila Kharwad (2,50,000 each). With this conversion, the company's paid-up share capital has risen to Rs. 38,13,26,000, comprising 3,81,32,600 equity shares, and no warrants remain pending for conversion.
This is a routine conversion of warrants that were already issued (originally in May 2024), so it is largely an expected event. It brings in roughly Rs. 95.6 lakh into the company but also dilutes existing shareholders by 7,50,000 shares (about 0.2% of expanded capital), with the new shares ranking pari-passu with existing ones.
