VA Tech Wabag has informed stock exchanges that the Register of Members and Share Transfer Books will be closed from Wednesday, August 6, 2025 to Tuesday, August 12, 2025 (both days inclusive) in connection with its 30th Annual General Meeting. The Board had earlier recommended a final dividend of Rs 4 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2025, and the Record Date to identify eligible shareholders is fixed as Tuesday, August 5, 2025. The final dividend, once approved by shareholders at the AGM, will be paid on or before September 10, 2025, after deducting tax at source. No trading in shares will be possible on the record date until the books reopen after August 12, 2025.
Investors who hold shares on or before August 5, 2025 (the Record Date) will be eligible for the Rs 4 final dividend; anyone buying after this date will not receive it. The small dividend provides modest income for existing shareholders, with the AGM serving as the next near-term catalyst for the stock.
