VA Tech Wabag has secured a medium-value Design, Build, Operate (DBO) order from the Delhi Jal Board for a 17 MGD wastewater treatment plant at Mitraon, Delhi. The project includes design, engineering, construction, commissioning, sludge dewatering facility, pumping stations, and associated piping works. The plant will be completed within 21 months, followed by 15 years of operation and maintenance. The order is classified as 'Medium' (Rs. 100-250 crores) and is a domestic project. This is a repeat order from DJB, reinforcing WABAG's existing relationship with the government body.
