Valiant Communications Limited (VCL) has received a project order from THDC India, a Government of India Mini Ratna Category-I enterprise and subsidiary of NTPC, for ransomware resilient, on-premises key data center equipment. THDC, classified as a Critical Information Infrastructure organization, is upgrading its data center using VCL's Made in India products that include network isolation, quantum-safe encryption, data diodes, and EMP protected storage. The solutions are designed for power sector, utilities, SCADA, government, defence, and critical infrastructure applications. The order value was not disclosed in the press release. VCL highlighted that the global data storage market is projected to grow at a 17.2% CAGR from USD 255.29 billion in 2025 to USD 774 billion by 2032.
This is a positive development as it adds a prestigious government PSU client (THDC/NTPC group) and reinforces VCL's positioning in the high-growth data storage and cybersecurity segment. However, the lack of disclosed order value limits assessment of its material impact on revenues and stock price.
