Valor Estate Limited (formerly D B Realty) reported audited standalone profit after tax of Rs 8,749.81 lakhs for FY2026, a significant turnaround from a loss of Rs 18,797.63 lakhs in FY2025. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 52,913.96 lakhs, but this is not directly comparable to prior year due to the composite scheme of amalgamation of Esteem Properties Private Limited (amalgamated with Appointed Date April 1, 2024) and demerger of the hospitality business into Advent Hotels International Private Limited (AHIL) effective July 1, 2025. The company now operates solely in real estate. The Board also approved a major related party acquisition: taking over 9,89,800 Class A equity shares of Bamboo Hotels and Global Centre (Delhi) Private Limited (BHGCPL) for Rs 59,670.49 lakhs plus an outstanding loan of Rs 1,05,889 lakhs from AHIL, subject to lender consent. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion with two emphasis of matter notes on pending litigations and reliance on management's fair valuation estimates.
The company returned to profit after years of losses, largely driven by the demerger and restructuring. However, the large impairment provisions (Rs 17,749.99 lakhs) and emphasis of matter on pending litigations and valuation uncertainty remain key risk factors for investors.
