Vardhman Textiles has amended its Power Purchase Agreement with Renew Green (MPR One) Private Limited for an 11.5 MW Wind Solar Hybrid Power Plant in Madhya Pradesh. The amendment changes the project location (still within Madhya Pradesh) and pushes the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date from 31st July 2024 to 31st July 2025. The original PPA was signed on 2nd May 2023, and power from the plant is meant to be supplied exclusively to Vardhman Textiles under captive power rules. The change was approved by the Committee of Directors (Renewable Energy) on 13th May 2025.
