Vascon Engineers reported audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 2026. Standalone revenue from operations declined to ₹94,853 lakhs from ₹1,07,524 lakhs in the previous year. Profit after tax (standalone) fell significantly to ₹4,888 lakhs from ₹12,710 lakhs, though FY25 included exceptional gains of ₹7,479 lakhs from sale of investments. Auditors issued unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated results, but included an Emphasis of Matter regarding dispute over divestment of Almet Corporation Limited shares. The company also saw leadership changes including elevation of Siddharth Vasudevan Moorthy as Chairman (Promoter and Managing Director) and appointment of new Independent Director Divya Maneklal Shah. Operating cash flow turned negative at ₹12,419 lakhs for the year.
The sharp decline in PAT and negative operating cash flow are concerns for investors. However, the clean audit opinion and new leadership structure may provide stability going forward. The Almet Corporation dispute remains a contingent issue to monitor.
