Vaxfab Enterprises Ltd (formerly Ellora Trading) reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,457.08 lakhs for Q1 FY26, against nil in Q1 FY25, marking a sharp jump from a zero base as the company began textile trading operations. Other income, however, was negative at Rs (62.84) lakhs versus Rs 71.23 lakhs a year ago. Profit after tax came in at Rs 38.73 lakhs, down about 34% from Rs 58.47 lakhs in Q1 FY25, with EPS of Rs 0.461. Total expenses surged to Rs 1,343.78 lakhs, driven mainly by a Rs 1,327 lakh change in inventories. Auditor SSRV & Associates gave an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
The dramatic revenue jump from a nil base suggests a business relaunch or operational start-up in textile trading, but the year-on-year profit decline and negative other income show the early stage is still thin on profitability. Shareholders should view this as a small, early-stage operating story (paid-up capital of Rs 840 lakhs) rather than an established earnings beat.
