Vedanta chairman Anil Agarwal outlined aggressive expansion plans across metals, oil and gas, and power at the company's 61st AGM, following the completion of its demerger into five listed entities. Key targets include tripling zinc-lead output to 3 million tonnes by 2031, doubling silver to 1,500 tonnes, expanding aluminium capacity to 6 million tonnes in three years, scaling oil and gas production to 500,000 barrels per day with a USD 5 billion investment over 3-5 years, and growing iron and steel capacity from 4 million tonnes to 15 million tonnes. Vedanta reported a record FY26 revenue of Rs 1.74 lakh crore, highest-ever profit of Rs 25,096 crore, and a net debt-to-EBITDA ratio of 0.95 times, its best in 14 quarters.
