Vedanta Power shares rise 4%, snap 2-day losing streak since listing

Vedanta Power shares jumped around 4% on the NSE, trading at about Rs 42 and crossing its listing price of Rs 41.80, snapping a two-day losing streak since its Monday debut. The company's market capitalisation stood at over Rs 16,126 crore. The stock is one of four newly listed entities resulting from the Rs 2 lakh crore Vedanta demerger into Aluminium, Power, Oil & Gas, and Iron & Steel businesses.
