Vedanta Limited has submitted copies of newspaper advertisements of its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26), published on August 1, 2025 in Financial Express (English) and Loksatta (Marathi), as required under SEBI LODR rules. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations rose to ₹37,824 crore from ₹35,764 crore a year ago, and EBITDA grew 5% YoY to ₹10,746 crore, which the company called its 'highest-ever first quarter.' However, net profit after tax fell to ₹3,013 crore from ₹3,878 crore in Q1 FY25, and basic EPS slipped to ₹8.15 from ₹9.72. On a standalone basis, revenue climbed to ₹18,829 crore and profit after tax rose sharply to ₹5,742 crore from ₹4,183 crore. The results were approved by the Board on July 31, 2025 after a limited review by statutory auditors, who issued an unmodified conclusion.
This is a routine regulatory disclosure of already-announced Q1 numbers, so it carries no fresh information for shareholders. Investors will note strong topline growth but a year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit, alongside rising standalone profitability.
