Vedanta has published its audited consolidated and standalone financial results for Q4 FY25 and the full year ended March 31, 2025 in Financial Express and Loksatta, as required by SEBI listing rules. Consolidated revenue for the full year stood at ₹1,52,968 crore, with the company reporting its highest-ever consolidated revenue of ₹1,50,725 crore (excluding other operating income), up from ₹1,43,727 crore in FY24. Full-year net profit jumped sharply to ₹14,988 crore from ₹4,239 crore in FY24, a rise of about 254%, while full-year EBITDA came in at ₹43,541 crore (up 37% YoY), the second-highest ever. In Q4 alone, net profit more than doubled to ₹3,483 crore from ₹1,369 crore a year ago, and quarterly EBITDA was ₹11,618 crore. Earnings per share for the full year rose to ₹38.97 (basic) from ₹11.42 in FY24. The results were approved by the Board on April 30, 2025 and the statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion.
Strong, record-level results with a major jump in profits and the highest-ever consolidated revenue are clearly positive for shareholders and likely to support the stock price. The sharp year-on-year profit growth signals a strong operating performance across Vedanta's diversified metals, mining and oil & gas businesses.
