Vedanta Limited reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹51,524 crore for Q4 FY26, up 21% year-on-year. Profit After Tax surged 81% YoY to ₹1,352 crore, driven by strong operational performance across its diversified portfolio including aluminium, zinc, oil & gas, and copper. The company achieved its best-ever quarterly net debt reduction of ₹7,370 crore in Q4, with the Net Debt/EBITDA ratio improving sharply to 0.15x from 1.22x last year. For the full year, consolidated revenue grew 16% to ₹1,77,194 crore while PAT increased 16% to ₹17,391 crore. Basic EPS for Q4 stood at ₹17.15 versus ₹8.92 in the same period last year. The Board approved these results in its meeting held on April 29, 2026.
The sharp improvement in profitability and significant debt reduction signals strong operational execution, which should be viewed positively by shareholders. The improved leverage metrics and interest coverage ratios indicate a healthier balance sheet.
