Vedavaag Systems reported 31% revenue growth on standalone basis (Rs 9,541 lakhs vs Rs 7,264 lakhs) and 21.5% on consolidated basis (Rs 12,868 lakhs vs Rs 10,593 lakhs) for FY2026. However, profitability declined significantly - standalone PAT fell 44% to Rs 376.46 lakhs and consolidated PAT fell 38% to Rs 520.28 lakhs. EPS dropped from Rs 2.91 to Rs 1.60 (standalone) and Rs 3.62 to Rs 2.22 (consolidated). Standalone Q4 FY26 showed particularly weak performance with PAT of just Rs 2.64 lakhs. The auditors issued unmodified clean audit reports with no qualifications. Trade receivables increased substantially (standalone: Rs 2,958 lakhs vs Rs 1,228 lakhs), indicating collection challenges. Operating cash flow remained positive at Rs 275 lakhs standalone.
Mixed signals: strong top-line growth of 20%+ is positive, but sharp profit decline despite higher revenues suggests margin compression or cost escalation concerns. The significant rise in trade receivables could signal working capital stress. Investors should monitor if the revenue growth translates to improved profitability in coming quarters.
