Vedavaag Systems reported FY25 (standalone) total revenue of Rs 7,264.38 lakhs, up about 18% YoY from Rs 6,163.22 lakhs, with profit after tax of Rs 674.77 lakhs (vs Rs 603.84 lakhs, up ~12%) and EPS of Rs 2.91. On a consolidated basis, FY25 revenue grew about 22% to Rs 10,593.04 lakhs while consolidated PAT rose to Rs 841.32 lakhs from Rs 788.99 lakhs. Q4 standalone PAT fell sharply to Rs 104.24 lakhs (vs Rs 214.49 lakhs a year ago) and consolidated Q4 PAT dropped to Rs 49.22 lakhs (vs Rs 218.64 lakhs), weighed down by higher employee and finance costs. The board also appointed M/s VCSR & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for five years (FY26–FY30) and re-appointed M/s Naga Chaitanya and Associates as Internal Auditor for FY26. Statutory auditors PARY & Co issued an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results, and the company confirmed no defaults on loans or debt securities during the quarter.
The full-year topline growth is healthy, but the steep Q4 profit drop and very thin operating cash flow (standalone OCF of just Rs 5.21 lakhs vs Rs 1,571.93 lakhs last year) may concern investors looking at earnings quality. A clean audit report and steady dividend payout are positives; the share price reaction will likely hinge on whether the Q4 weakness is seen as one-off or a trend.
