Veedol Corporation Limited has published a notice in The Telegraph (English) and Aajkal (Bengali), Kolkata editions, informing shareholders that equity shares corresponding to unpaid or unclaimed dividends for seven consecutive years (from financial year 2017-18 onwards) are liable to be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Suspense/Demat Account. The company has individually contacted the concerned shareholders and uploaded the full list on its website (www.veedolindia.com). Shareholders have until 18th September 2025 to submit the required documents to the Registrar and Transfer Agent (Maheshwari Datamatics Private Limited) to claim their unpaid dividends and prevent the transfer. If no action is taken by the deadline, shares held physically will see original certificates cancelled and duplicate ones issued in the company's name, while demat shares will be moved directly to the IEPF Authority's account. Shareholders can still reclaim their shares and unclaimed dividends later by following the IEPF Authority's prescribed procedure.
This is a routine regulatory compliance filing and is not expected to impact the stock price. Shareholders who have not encashed dividends since FY 2017-18 must act before 18th September 2025 or risk having their shares transferred to the government-held IEPF account, though they retain the right to reclaim them later through a formal process.
