Vega Jewellers Ltd (formerly PH Trading Limited) submitted its audited standalone results for FY25. Total income for the year was Rs 1,064.40 lakhs, with revenue from operations of Rs 1,030.28 lakhs. Profit before tax came in at Rs 23.30 lakhs (vs Rs 22.50 lakhs in FY24) and profit after tax at Rs 18.60 lakhs (vs Rs 16.14 lakhs in FY24), showing modest profit growth. The balance sheet expanded sharply to Rs 1,827.77 lakhs in total assets from Rs 298.52 lakhs, mainly due to warrant issue proceeds of Rs 1,322.29 lakhs, lifting cash and equivalents to Rs 1,384.14 lakhs. Statutory auditor M/s Sagar & Associates issued an unqualified (unmodified) opinion. Post year-end, the company invested Rs 19.80 crore in four LLPs as designated partner and completed a Rs 35 crore slump sale, both to be accounted in FY26.
The results show a company mid-transformation following a scheme of arrangement, with a strong capital infusion via warrants but still thin operating profitability. Shareholders should track how the post-year-end LLP investments and acquired business via slump sale translate into earnings in FY26.
