Veto Switchgears reported its Q1 FY26 results on August 13, 2025. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations rose modestly to Rs. 4,324.15 lakhs from Rs. 4,174.35 lakhs a year ago (~3.6% growth), but net profit fell to Rs. 372.12 lakhs from Rs. 431.48 lakhs (~13.8% decline). On a consolidated basis, revenue grew to Rs. 6,487.04 lakhs from Rs. 6,121.01 lakhs (~6% growth), yet net profit dropped sharply to Rs. 343.21 lakhs from Rs. 488.01 lakhs (~29.7% decline), hurt by weaker contributions from subsidiaries. Standalone EPS stood at Rs. 1.95 versus Rs. 2.26, while consolidated EPS was Rs. 1.80 versus Rs. 2.55. Operating profit declined both on standalone and consolidated levels, indicating margin pressure despite top-line growth. The limited review report from auditors SGCO & Co. LLP was clean with no qualifications.
Mixed signals for shareholders — top-line growth is healthy but bottom-line is contracting, with operating margins visibly compressed. The steep consolidated profit fall suggests subsidiary-level weakness, which investors may view negatively in the near term.
