Board of Viji Finance has approved increasing the authorized share capital from Rs 30 crore to Rs 75 crore, split into 75 crore equity shares of Re.1 each versus 30 crore shares earlier. Clause V of the Memorandum of Association has been amended accordingly. The change is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. A prior disclosure on this was delayed due to an inadvertent oversight, with the company explaining the delay to the exchange.
Larger authorized capital prepares the company to potentially issue more shares later, subject to AGM approval. Could hint at future fundraising or dilution.
