Viji Finance Limited has submitted a draft notice to be sent to shareholders who have not claimed their dividends for seven or more consecutive financial years. Under Sections 124(5) and 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013, the company is required to transfer such unclaimed dividends along with the corresponding shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). The deadline for shareholders to claim their dividends and stop the transfer is October 3, 2025. If no action is taken by that date, the company will move the shares to IEPF without further notice. Shareholders can claim by contacting the company's registrar M/s Ankit Consultancy Pvt Ltd, and ensure KYC compliance. Shares already transferred to IEPF can be reclaimed by filing Form IEPF-5 on the IEPF portal.
This is a routine compliance filing under SEBI Listing Regulations and does not affect the company's operations or financials. Shareholders who hold old shares and have missed claiming dividends for 7+ years risk losing ownership of those shares to the IEPF if they do not act before the October 3, 2025 deadline.
