Vikram Aroma Ltd reported Q1 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs 508.82 lakhs, down about 34% from Rs 772.76 lakhs in the same quarter last year and also lower sequentially versus Rs 624.81 lakhs in Q4 FY25. Despite the revenue drop, the company swung to a net profit of Rs 6.34 lakhs (EPS Rs 0.20) from a loss of Rs 58.20 lakhs a year ago, helped by lower raw material, employee and finance costs. The auditor (J.T. Shah & Co) issued an unmodified limited review opinion with no qualifications or emphasis-of-matter items. The company continues to operate in a single 'Chemicals' segment and has no subsidiaries or exceptional items to report.
The top-line continues to shrink meaningfully, which is a concern, but a return to profitability after consecutive losses and an improving cost structure are positives for shareholders. Near-term stock reaction will hinge on whether the volume weakness reverses in coming quarters.
