Vikram Kamats Hospitality Limited has allotted 7,65,325 equity shares of Rs 10 each following conversion of warrants that were originally allotted on September 28, 2024. The conversion price was Rs 51.80 per warrant (being 70% of the issue price of Rs 74), generating Rs 3.96 crore for the company. Allottees include promoter Dr. Vikram V. Kamat (1.20 lakh shares), Kamats Worldwide Food Services Private Limited (3.87 lakh shares), Nabs Vriddhii LLP (2.25 lakh shares), and Kamal Singh Kathotia HUF (33,784 shares). The company's paid-up capital increased from Rs 17.43 crore to Rs 18.20 crore. Additionally, 45,270 warrants held by Nabs Vriddhii LLP have lapsed, and the 30% upfront subscription amount of Rs 10.05 lakh has been forfeited.
The warrant conversion brings fresh capital of nearly Rs 4 crore into the company while increasing the equity base by about 4.4%. Promoter holding remains significant at over 32%, but the dilution is modest. The lapse of 45,270 warrants and forfeiture of their upfront amount is a neutral event.
