Vikram Solar has signed a strategic domestic procurement agreement with Jupiter International Limited to source 2GW of high-efficiency TopCon and mono PERC solar cells that are ALMM-compliant. The total deal value is approximately Rs. 2,000 crores. The agreement was executed on February 20, 2026. The two companies are not related parties, and the deal carries no special rights or board representation. This is a backward-integration supply arrangement to secure cell availability for Vikram Solar's module manufacturing operations.
This is a supply-side procurement deal, not a new order win, so it is largely operational. It does, however, signal management's confidence in future module demand and locks in cell supply at scale, which could support smoother production and margin stability for shareholders.
