Vinay Rajani of HDFC Sec suggests Gail, Adani Ports shares to buy in near-term

HDFC Securities analyst Vinay Rajani has recommended GAIL and Adani Ports as near-term buys, citing technical breakouts supported by rising volumes and positioning above key moving averages. GAIL has broken out of an inverted head-and-shoulders pattern on the weekly chart, while Adani Ports has broken out of a two-month consolidation. Separately, the Sensex closed 521 points higher and Nifty 50 gained 159 points on Monday, with Nifty decisively breaking above the 24,200 resistance zone amid continued FII buying and a positive trend across all major moving averages.
