Vinayak Polycon International Ltd reported Q2 FY26 revenue of Rs 507.37 lakhs, down about 12% from Rs 577.14 lakhs in Q2 FY25. Half-year revenue rose marginally to Rs 1,014.35 lakhs from Rs 996.94 lakhs a year ago. Despite the revenue dip, net profit for the quarter grew to Rs 4.32 lakhs from Rs 3.30 lakhs, and half-year PAT climbed to Rs 9.68 lakhs from Rs 7.72 lakhs, helped by lower raw material and finance costs. EPS for the half year stood at Rs 0.31 versus Rs 0.25 last year. However, the company swung to negative operating cash flow of Rs -39.47 lakhs in H1 FY26 versus a positive Rs 230.76 lakhs for FY25, mainly due to a sharp Rs 102.61 lakh rise in trade receivables. The statutory auditor (A. Natani & Co.) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
Mixed picture for shareholders — profit growth on cost control is positive, but a revenue decline, rising receivables, and a move to negative operating cash flow signal working capital stress and warrant caution on near-term cash generation.
