Vipul Organics announced its Q1 FY2025-26 results, reporting standalone PAT of Rs. 126.87 Lakh, up 11.39% year-on-year and a sharp 59.97% jump from the previous quarter. Total revenue stood at Rs. 3,768.81 Lakh, which was marginally lower compared to Q1 last year and about 14.3% lower than Q4 FY24-25. Standalone EPS improved to Rs. 0.87, rising 24.29% YoY and 81.25% QoQ. Management attributed the profit growth to cost-effective measures, noting that the topline was nearly flat YoY. The company also highlighted that its new Sayakha (Gujarat) manufacturing facility is expected to start operations later in FY25-26, and a new division called Adimem Technologies (membrane technology) has been set up to drive future growth.
Profitability improved despite weak revenue, which is a positive sign on cost control, but the decline in quarterly topline may concern investors. The upcoming Sayakha plant and new Adimem Technologies division could support revenue and earnings growth in coming quarters, making this a cautiously positive update for shareholders.
