Virinchi Limited reported its Q1 FY26 results on August 14, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations rose to ₹4,007.34 Lacs from ₹3,328.46 Lacs a year ago, a growth of about 20.4%. Standalone net profit after tax grew to ₹613.07 Lacs (₹0.60 EPS) from ₹546.47 Lacs (₹0.56 EPS) last year. On a consolidated basis, revenue rose modestly to ₹7,973.66 Lacs from ₹7,551.97 Lacs, but consolidated net profit after tax fell sharply to ₹36.94 Lacs (₹0.04 EPS) from ₹104.84 Lacs, dragged by higher depreciation and finance costs. The Board also discussed restructuring its US FinTech SaaS unit 'QFund' into a 100% subsidiary via slump sale, with possible private investment, strategic partnership, or IPO, using proceeds to cut consolidated debt and fund expansion of the Virinchi hospital chain in oncology. A follow-up board meeting is scheduled for August 22, 2025.
Standalone earnings are healthy with strong revenue growth, but the steep fall in consolidated profit despite higher revenue points to margin pressure and rising debt servicing costs at the group level. The proposed QFund hive-off and potential IPO are value-unlocking triggers that could lift the stock, but final terms and timing remain uncertain pending the August 22 meeting.
