V-Mart Retail filed its investor presentation for Q4FY25 and FY25 audited results. Revenue grew 17% YoY to ₹32,539 Mn in FY25, with Same Store Sales Growth of 11%. EBITDA surged 77% YoY to ₹3,771 Mn, with margins expanding sharply from 7.7% to 11.6% of revenue, helped by lower other expenses and LimeRoad loss reduction of 57%. The company swung to a profit of ₹458 Mn in FY25 from a loss of ₹968 Mn in FY24, partly aided by a ₹242 Mn exceptional gain from an Ind AS 116 lease reassessment. The store network expanded to 497 outlets (V-Mart: 412, Unlimited: 85), with 62 new stores opened during the year.
Strong margin expansion and return to profitability should be viewed positively by investors, though the exceptional gain from accounting reassessment and negative free cash flow of ₹310 Mn warrant a closer look. LimeRoad's narrowing losses and steady store expansion signal improving operational health.
