Voltamp Transformers has submitted copies of newspaper advertisements published on May 15, 2025 in Business Standard (English) and Vadodara Samachar (Gujarati), notifying shareholders about the transfer of certain equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). The shares in question are those whose final dividend for FY 2017-18 remained unclaimed for seven consecutive years, and these are set to be transferred to IEPF after August 31, 2025. The company has already sent individual notices to affected shareholders at their last known addresses and posted the relevant shareholder details on its website. Shareholders holding shares in physical form will have duplicate certificates issued (originals cancelled), while demat holders will see their accounts debited for the shares due for transfer.
Shareholders who have not claimed their FY 2017-18 dividend must act before August 31, 2025 by contacting the company's Registrar (MUFG Intime India) to prevent their shares from being transferred to IEPF. Those whose shares do get transferred can still claim them back later from the IEPF Authority by following the prescribed procedure.
