Voltas share price surged 5 percent on NSE after the Tata Group company crossed 1 million air-conditioner unit sales in less than three months of FY27, reaching the milestone in record time. The stock opened at Rs 1,384 versus the previous close of Rs 1,343, touching an intraday high of Rs 1,412. Managing Director Mukundan Menon said the achievement reflects strong consumer demand and reinforces Voltas' position as India's number one AC brand.
