Voltas reported Q4FY26 consolidated total income of ₹4,930 crores, up marginally from ₹4,847 crores in Q4FY25, but profit before tax fell to ₹185 crores from ₹343 crores due to commodity inflation and currency depreciation. For full year FY26, total income declined to ₹14,483 crores from ₹15,737 crores, with net profit dropping to ₹370 crores versus ₹834 crores last year. The cooling segment (UCP) maintained market leadership in room ACs and launched AI-powered Vertis Split AC series. The Projects segment has an order book exceeding ₹6,200 crores. Voltbek JV holds 8.6% market share in washing machines and 6.2% in refrigerators. Management cited geopolitical disruptions and delayed summer onset as key headwinds but expressed optimism for the current season with improved product portfolio and cost optimization initiatives.
The sharp decline in annual net profit (down 56% YoY) reflects significant margin pressure from input costs and currency volatility, though the Q4 sequential recovery and strong order book provide near-term revenue visibility. Investors will focus on whether recent manufacturing investments and pricing actions can restore margins in FY27.
