Voltas reported its highest-ever annual profit of ₹834 crores in FY25, up from ₹248 crores last year, on consolidated total income of ₹15,737 crores (up 24%). Profit before tax more than doubled to ₹1,191 crores, while EPS jumped to ₹25.43 from ₹7.62. The Air Conditioner (UCP) business drove growth with 30% revenue increase to ₹10,614 crores, helped by a strong summer season and the company crossing 2.5 million AC units. The Engineering Projects segment swung from a ₹328 crore loss to a ₹169 crore profit, supported by an order book of over ₹6,500 crores. Voltas Beko posted 57% volume growth, with washing machine market share rising to 8.7% and refrigerators to 5.3%. The company plans to scale up its Chennai AC factory further.
Record profits and strong order book visibility are positive for shareholders; near-term outlook remains optimistic though commodity prices, forex volatility, and global trade tensions pose risks to margins.
