Volume Shocker: MFs add 1 crore+ shares of 6 stocks in May, stocks gain up to 25%

Mutual funds added over 1 crore shares each to 42 stocks in May 2026, with six names gaining over 10 percent alongside institutional accumulation. Yes Bank saw the highest MF buying at 45.91 crore shares added, followed by Central Bank of India at 18.22 crore shares. Jammu and Kashmir Bank led price gains at 26 percent, while Pine Labs fell 23 percent despite significant MF accumulation of 6.75 crore shares.
