VA Transport Private Limited, a member of the promoter group of Vraj Iron and Steel, has merged with Gopal Sponge and Power Private Limited following a court-sanctioned scheme. As a result, VA Transport's entire holding of 55,55,500 equity shares (16.84%) in Vraj Iron and Steel has been transferred off-market to Gopal Sponge and Power on 27 March 2026. The total share capital and voting capital of Vraj Iron and Steel remain unchanged at 3,29,82,619 shares of Rs. 10 each. This is a routine internal reshuffle within the promoter group, not a change in the aggregate promoter ownership of the company.
No impact on retail shareholders — the total promoter group stake in Vraj Iron and Steel stays the same, and no shares have been sold in the market. The shareholding merely moves from one promoter entity to another within the same family group.
