VTM Limited has submitted its 78th Annual Report for FY 2024-25 to BSE. The company reported a strong performance with turnover rising to ₹34,452.68 lakhs from ₹20,796.55 lakhs in the previous year, a growth of about 65%. Export turnover surged to ₹22,088.34 lakhs (64.11% of total sales) led by the Home Textiles segment which alone contributed ₹17,989.69 lakhs. Profit After Tax jumped to ₹4,537.41 lakhs from ₹1,829.19 lakhs, a growth of around 148%. The Board has recommended a final dividend of ₹0.75 per share on top of an interim dividend of ₹0.25 per share already paid in December 2024, taking total dividend for the year to ₹1.00 per share. The company invested about ₹473 lakhs in modernisation, including 4 imported ITEMA rapier looms from Italy (₹3.55 crore), and expanded its solar power capacity significantly as part of ESG initiatives. The 78th AGM is scheduled for 2 July 2025.
Strong rebound in both revenue and profits signals improved operating leverage and demand recovery, particularly in exports. The proposed total dividend of ₹1.00 per share offers a decent payout to shareholders. The annual report gives investors a comprehensive view of the company's financial health, capex plans, and ESG progress, which should support confidence in the stock.
