VTM Ltd reported Q4 FY26 total income of ₹11,043.23L (up 0.8% YoY) and full-year income of ₹37,538.96L (up 7.5% YoY). However, profitability collapsed sharply: Q4 net profit dropped to ₹89.65L vs ₹1,217.19L in Q4 FY25, and full-year net profit fell to ₹1,119.88L from ₹4,537.41L in FY25 — a 75% decline. Two major headwinds impacted results: US tariff impacts led to customer discounts totaling ₹1,997.40L for the full year, and abnormal foreign exchange losses of ₹254.56L were recorded. There were also exceptional items including ₹25.19L in gratuity provisions and ₹277.13L in total exceptional charges. The statutory auditor (CNGSN & Associates LLP) issued an unmodified opinion. The company also disclosed plans to list on NSE and reported a restatement of prior period EPS for a bonus share issue.
Steep profit decline despite revenue growth signals margin pressure from US tariffs and forex losses. The stock may face short-term selling pressure given the 75% PAT drop, though the clean audit opinion and NSE listing plan are positives.
