WPIL Limited reported strong consolidated results for Q3 FY26, with revenue from operations rising about 41% year-on-year to Rs 53,871.75 lakhs (vs Rs 38,160.22 lakhs in Q3 FY25). Consolidated profit before tax jumped nearly 2.4x to Rs 10,926.78 lakhs, and net profit after tax doubled to Rs 7,556.33 lakhs (vs Rs 3,705.42 lakhs), translating to EPS of Rs 5.56 (vs Rs 3.21). The Pumps and Accessories segment continued to be the larger contributor with Rs 29,760.97 lakhs in revenue, while the Project (Works Contract) segment grew sharply to Rs 24,110.78 lakhs. Geographically, international markets (Rest of World) surged to Rs 37,387.56 lakhs from Rs 16,735.79 lakhs a year ago, while India revenue softened. On the standalone side, revenue dipped slightly to Rs 20,439.47 lakhs but net profit rose to Rs 3,273.31 lakhs. The board also approved the re-appointment of Mr. B.P. Khare as Executive Director (Operations) for three years and Mrs. Samarpita Bose as Independent Director for a second five-year term, and approved shifting the registered office within Kolkata.
Strong double-digit growth in revenue and earnings, driven largely by international pump and project orders, is a positive signal for shareholders. The robust EPS growth and expanding overseas presence support a positive short-term outlook, while the continuity in leadership via director re-appointments adds governance stability.
