Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has announced the execution of definitive agreements for acquiring a 55% stake in Associated Power Structures Private Limited (APSPL). Two agreements were signed - Shareholders Agreement (SHA) and Share Purchase and Subscription Agreement (SPSA). The total investment value is Rs. 1,225 Crores for acquiring 55% shareholding on fully diluted basis, which will make APSPL a subsidiary of WRTL. The acquisition was originally planned to complete by April 30, 2026 but has been delayed due to procedural requirements, with the new expected completion date being June 15, 2026. The transaction is not a related party transaction and WRTL currently has no existing shareholding in APSPL.
This acquisition positions WRTL to expand its business portfolio by making APSPL its subsidiary, potentially adding new revenue streams and operational capabilities.
